Ride for the Feast is a 2-day, 140-mile bike ride from Ocean City to Baltimore City, May 13-14, 2017.
I started participating in Ride for the Feast 12 years ago and my life hasn't been the same since. I went from being a non-athlete to being, well, a semi-athlete who loves riding bikes. My world has gotten bigger thanks to the places my pedals have taken me, and my heart has grown bigger thanks to my Ride family and your generosity.
As much as the Ride experience has changed me, I can only imagine what it has meant to Moveable Feast's clients. Together you and I have provided almost 3,000 healthy, life-sustaining meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. We've ensured that at least a dozen people know that they aren't fighting their illnesses alone and forgotten, that someone cares.
I'd say we're pretty great together, you and I. Powerful, even. So let's keep at it! I'm riding again this year, and need you to help raise the $1500 it takes to provide food for one person for one year. Any donation, in any amount, gets us closer to that goal. Please help.
Remember, 100% of your donation goes directly back into the services provided to our clients. Your support will aid thousands of our neighbors here in Maryland. Last year, Moveable Feast delivered 784,226 life-saving meals to 5,455 Marylanders. With your help, we are working to deliver 1 million meals in a single year – each one made and delivered with love.
“Moveable Feast is more than just the nutrition that they give you food-wise; they give you spirit. It changes your life.” Marvin, a Moveable Feast client.
