Ride for the Feast is a 2-day, 140-mile bike ride from Ocean City to Baltimore City, MD on May 2-3, 2020. I have been riding since 2012.
The event raises money for Moveable Feast, a Maryland nonprofit that delivers healthy meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Services are provided in Baltimore City, the 5 surrounding counties and on the Eastern Shore, all at no cost to clients. I will be raising $1,500, the equivalent amount of the food costs for feeding one client for a year. 140 miles represents the furthest distance Moveable Feast travels to reach a client.
With your help, Moveable Feast is working to deliver 1 million meals in a single year. 100% of your donation goes directly back into the services provided to clients. Your support will aid thousands of our neighbors here in Maryland.
“Moveable Feast is more than just the nutrition that they give you food-wise; they give you spirit. It changes your life.” Marvin, a Moveable Feast client.
